Wine Judging
Wine making is both a science and an art. Winemakers make what they like, and what they hope others will also appreciate of the the effort to create and the flavors obtained from their grapes.
We at Satori appreciate that our members appreciate our wines, it is comforting to know that industry connoisseurs and sommeliers also recognize our wines as amongst the best in their class.
Awards are presented to winemakers based on their assessment of how the wine reflects the characteristics of the varietal in characteristics such appearance, aroma, taste and finish.
Over the years, we have been successful at many prestigious & major wine competitions such as the
San Francisco Chronical Wine Competition, the largest in the world
and the Orange County OC Fair Commercial Wine Competition
Over 5000 wines are presented at these competitions and are blind judged.
