THE NITTY GRITTY
You do NOT have to be a Wine Club member to be part of the Harvest Club.
You do NOT need any prior experience.
All ages are welcome, with anyone under 18 needing close adult supervision.
Harvest is not strenuous work and there is no heavy lifting required, but it IS a morning of working in the vineyard. You should be comfortable being on your feet, walking on uneven ground, bending, reaching, and picking steadily for approximately 3½–4 hours.
And when we say uneven ground, we mean it! There are plenty of small and large holes thanks to our rabbit, gopher, and squirrel “friends.” 😄
Taking breaks is absolutely OK!
We just ask that everyone who signs up comes prepared to participate in the harvest morning and is comfortable with the amount of walking and time spent in the vineyard.
We will be completely outdoors in nature.
Garden gloves are recommended. We will have some available to borrow.
We provide a sharp cutting tool, although some people prefer to bring their own clippers.
HARVEST MORNING ☀️
Our gates open EARLY because we are always trying to beat the heat!
We’ll start with freshly brewed coffee, pastries, and even a little Irish cream if you like, followed by a short introduction, a few yoga stretches, and then we head out into the vineyard.
Starting times will change as the season progresses and sunrise comes later.
Once we’re out there, we pick carefully, slowly, and steadily for approximately 3½–4 hours.
Fun conversations and laughter are common.
Picking quietly with your headphones on is OK too. 😊

We provide an assortment of COLD beverages throughout the morning.
After our morning of harvesting, LUNCH is provided!
Our salads and side dishes will include vegetarian choices, although the main course will most likely include meat.
If you are 21 or over, you will also receive a bottle of selected Satori wine as our thank-you for participating in the harvest. You are welcome to take it home or open it and enjoy a glass onsite with lunch.
We have plenty of room to relax afterward and enjoy lunch and wine outdoors at our picnic tables.
A FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS
To keep harvest organized, fun, and manageable, we limit each harvest day to the first 40 people who sign up.
Once we reach 40 confirmed harvesters, we’ll close that date.
We will ask you to confirm your attendance ahead of time so we can properly plan for the number of harvesters, food, beverages, and supplies.
Please arrive on time and be ready to head into the vineyard at the designated start time. Once everyone begins picking, it can be difficult to stop and bring late arrivals up to speed.
